seriously, there needs to be more realistic yaoi, no idealized romance fantasy crap. Idealized romance just leads people to think love really works that way; pine for someone, macho guy comes in, boom, insta-love. Why, oh why are there so much out there? Besides that, they usually make for horrible story. It's so predictable. So cliched. So...boring.
Then, there's the part where it just reinforces the actually belief that there is such thing as this idealized "love". Do you see it in everyday life? I sure as hell don't.
And what happens when you mix this "love" in with daily life? It does down the crapper, that's what.
